Domaine Du Vieux Chateau Chablis 1er Cru Vaillon 2011DESCRIPTION The grapes grown in Vaillons, meaning 'little valley', are planted on the upper part of the south eastern facing hill, on Kimmeridgien Marl. Known for extended lees aging, the 2011 shows rich complexity. It features notes of preserved lemon, white flowers, and flint, with high acidity and a rich, honeyed texture from extended, stainless steel only aging. It is a powerful, complex wine.
