suntory the chita single grain whisky 350mlThis previously relatively unknown Suntory distillery has been in operation since 1972 and exclusively produces grain whiskies, which are also used in many of Suntory's blended whiskies. For this no age statement grain whisky, at least 10 different grain whiskies of varying ages are blended together. These were aged in Spanish and American oak casks, giving this whisky its incomparable fresh flavor. This 350ml bottle is the ideal way to get to know

it is one of the oldest bottlings with this designation

Because the whisky was only produced in a very limited edition

This limited edition bottling is extremely rare and practically impossible to find anymore

These were then blended in Japan

The edition was strictly limited

The whisky matured for eight years before being bottled at 40% abv

making them extremely rare today

this whisky was only a moderate success in Japan and production was discontinued after only 2 years

This blend from Nikka was created by Masataka Taketsuru in 1962 and is still produced today

the bottling was not well received by Japanese consumers

which unfortunately hasn't been produced for years
