but we still had a bunch of PCBs so we decided to rename it and get it into the hands of more people

+9 volts gives you a nice amount of clarity and sparkle for large boards/cable runs whereas +18 volts increases the clarity and brightness without being thin or brittle

but once you reduce or increase the knob you immediately find some of those classic fuzz sounds this style of pedal is known for

The Tone knob on the Big Puft has been tuned so at noon you have a much flatter EQ sound

At it's core the Argo Boost Deluxe is the same topology as the Argo but the additional Footswitch and Red Boost Knob allow to use the boost portion of the circuit by itself

The overall tone has a very “tweed” like mid push but it’s not overwhelming and doesn’t mask the tone you guitar and amp have while the pedal is off
