Enamel Copper Disc Earrings, Checkerboard Pattern, Kiln Fired, Round DangleBlack and white done the handmade way which is to say, a little imperfect and a lot more interesting than it has any right to be. I made these by applying a white enamel base to copper discs, then screening black enamel over the top to build that checkerboard pattern before firing them in the kiln. The result is this slightly organic, textured quality where the squares aren't quite crisp and I think that's exactly what makes them work. They're graphic
