Glow Time - Spanish Peaksoriginal painting: 20x30, oil on panel (the original oil painting has been sold) During a summer trip into the Spanish Peaks I sat on the shore of the lower lake all evening waiting to see the "perfect" alpenglow light. This painting captures that moment for me.

This painting is an impression of the landscape high above the treeline in the Beartooth Mountains

There weren't many places around the cabin I stayed in that gave me a good view of the surrounding mountains
